Week 24 Bristol

M&C slaughtered the field and took no prisoners. Tom just can't catch a break. The guy changes out 3 drivers a week just to keep afloat, busts out a 606 point race with near no-names, and loses to the only team in the field with more points! I think the Thomson house rivalry just got nastier! Jerod is moving up the charts with a close win over 3rd ranked Craig. The two teams were close the whole race but Jerod's qualifying points gave him the edge to victory. Jerod jumps Dallas this week in the standings. The Chris vs. Dallas match up got down and dirty. Both teams had the highest qualifying points (121-129) to start the race and both were neck and neck with over 650 points. As they fought throughout the race, both teams fell more then 100 points taking the fight to the ground it seemed. Chris came out the victor, but it wasn't pretty. Nathan dodged a bullet facing Lori. Nathan had a 250 point lead over Lori midway through, but a late race wreck took out Nathan's #1 pick, Jimmie Johnson. As Nathan fell 200 points, Lori kept creeping closer for the kill shot, but just fell short by 47 points.
