Craig is now one week away from tying the top finishes-in-a-row record he set last year. However, Nathan stands in his way. #1 vs #2 will face off this week and it is a pivotal match up for both teams. If Nathan wins, he will take back a three race advantage heading into the mid season. If Craig wins, he possibly ties his own record and shrinks Nathan's lead to one race. Much is riding between the two teams.
This week M&C pushed Craig against the ropes fighting and refusing to give up. Craig began with a 100 point lead only to see it diminish half way by 50 points. However, late in the race, Craig stormed back and regained his dominance with a large win over M&C. Nathan was beating Jerod by 30 points until Jimmie Johnson wrecked twice. Jerod then took a 60 point lead but the race wasn't over. Nathan crawled back ever so slowly and shrunk the lead to less then 10 points. But in the final laps, Jerod dominated Nathan to give him his 2nd loss of the year. Tom and Dallas also gave us a great race to follow. The two of them never seemed to be less then 10 points from each other the whole race. In fact, they were tied 533-533 at the end of the race! But Tom earned 15 bonus points to push him over the top for the victory. After a victory last week, Lori wasn't going to lie down. Her race with Chris was a close one too. She gave Chris a good scare and the race was decided by only 36 points. Another week with every team scoring above 500, what a great race! Here are the results and the Race Rewind Video.
