Talladega was a wild card weekend. Fantasy points became a toss up after massive wrecks plagued the last 5 laps. Some were lucky to escape with a win this week while others fell short to the underdogs.
Craig was lucky this week facing a weak opponent because two other players out scored him. Blaine and Jerod were both fighting each other for a chance for a medal. Blaine dominated Jerod most of the race but Jerod screamed to nearly 600 points only to fall short four points to 4th place Blaine. Tom was able to grab a much needed win over Kory to keep him in the hunt for 2nd & 3rd place. Nathan and Ronnie also had a close race, although it does not show it in the score. The two teams traded leads seven times throughout the race. With five laps to go, Nathan had a five point lead over Ronnie. When the wrecks occurred, Ronnie fell to the underdog by 68 points.
Though the Championship is already won, the fight for 2nd & 3rd continue. Ronnie's recent slump has allowed Nathan, Blaine, and Tom back in the hunt for 2nd place with only three races left in our season. It will be a hard uphill battle for the three underdogs for Ronnie has the easier schedule to finish the season.
Blaine vs. Jerod - 601-597
Craig vs. Timmy - 589-478
Tom vs. Kory - 569-457
Nathan vs. Ronnie - 555-487
